Trustees caught tanked in public

Two members of the Buffalo Grove Village Board were observed -- if not encouraged by Buffalo Grove Police -- to be tanked in public,

But all for a good cause.

Trustees Jeff Berman and Andrew Stein participated in a dunk tank sponsored by the Buffalo Grove Police at  Buffalo Grove Days as a fund raiser for Special Olympics.

Each trustee spent hour in the attraction as attendees at Buffalo Grove Days had the chance to toss one ball for $2 or three balls for $5 in an effort to tank the trustees.

The event drew the attention of adults as well as younger children who received a helping hand from Buffalo Grove's top cop, Steve Casstevens.

Ideas for next year?
